AATB, if you still care what I think is gross I think Jerry Sandusky is gross. I think people in the Middle East stoning women who are rape victims is gross. I think Hitler's racial idology is gross.

Eating butter and ketchup sandwiches? Doesn't sound good to me. Playing with your own blood? Whatever, as long as you aren't infecting people with HIV because of it or something. Eating your own placenta? I know people have their own reasons for doing it, to each their own.

Like I said before, I guess this is at least partially a semantics thing. But it bothers me how much people say people and their personal choices are gross and judge worthy. And the way people were talking about NickiVegan earlier set it off for me so I decided to, you know, air my grievances.

I think burping and farting is gross. I think those things Anna mentioned are horrifying. There is a big difference between a natural aversion to things, and Hitler.

Anna, that's a stretch. I don't think those things are gross, I think they're horrifying and repulsive. I think spiders are gross. This is the worst abuse of semantics I've ever seen on TK.

I don't really care what anyone does with their own period blood in the privacy of their own home. I'm not going to run out and try to get a law passed that it should be a criminal offense to do so, either. It's still fucking gross. Disgusting is probably a better word as to how I would describe it.

The reason that I don't bleed all over the place and slap around in it, isn't because it's just not my style, but more because it's disgusting and pointless.

You could get fries with cheese and gravy in our a la carte line at our high school cafeteria. They didn't call it poutine though, they just called it fries with cheese and gravy...

You could also get cream cheese muffins and they were the best cream cheese muffins in the entire world. Every single cream cheese muffin I've had since high school has been a monstrous disappointment.

There really is no point to this post.

Anna we get it, you are a really good and non judgemental person. That's completely fine and wonderful (seriously) but it also means that you should stop judging us for thinking that it's gross to play in your period blood!!

Us thinking that period blood streaming down legs and onto floors is gross does not equal us being okay with genocide and Hitler. I find those things you listed as "gross", horifying, unthinkable and they make my blood boil. (Regular blood, not period blood.)

What you just did is like saying "There are starving children in Africa" when I don't want to finish a sandwich. It's a ridiculous leap to make.

Edit: Annnd now I see we've moved on to gravy fries and poutine. I should really keep up.
