I'm loving the participation from all the new ladies!  

So how was your weekend??  Are you Pittsburgh local or not?  Steelers fan?

My weekend was pretty uneventful...met up with my sorority sisters (including one visiting from out of town), watched the Steelers game, and then was sad.  I didn't have much hopes for them this year with all the injuries but what a terrible way to lose.

    md- what a way to lose is right. Eek.

    We had a very busy weekend! We bought FI's wedding band, booked our wedding night hotel room, finalized invite design. And played a lot of card games! We got SkipBo and Yahtzee (card version) for Christmas so we've been having fun with those.

    We had friends from out of town over for the weekend for a late Yule celebration. We also "went public" (so to speak) with our engagement. We told our family when it happened, but didn't tell everyone else this weekend. We also took my engagement ring to get sized on Saturday (can't wait to actually be able to wear it!).

    Since I'm originally from NJ, I was excited to see the Giants win. Ultimately, I'm not a big football fan and he likes the Saints. I am only happy that Denver won because I live near Heinz Field and it was insane, and near impossible to get around during playoff season last year. But I am honestly sorry to all of Pittsburgh for the loss.

    Weekend was nice and busy!! We've been wedding planning and house hunting! Such Craziness! 

    Saturday we went and looked at a house.. which was a bust. And in the evening was my FI's holiday party! It's always fun to put faces to the stories you hear!

    Sunday was nice and relaxing!

    I went curling on Saturday - I'm kind of terrified of ice, so it was interesting!  If you ever get the chance to try it out, I recommend it!  Great workout!

    I emailed a bunch of places for our wedding, too.  I have two strong contenders right now; hopefully we can go visit them in the next two weeks!

    And yes, I watched the Steelers lose.  I live right by Heinz Field, too, and I don't think the traffic was bad last year...then again, I marched myself down there after the AFC Championship game in the bitter cold, so I'm kind of a megafan, haha.  I did tell my FI if they pulled it off we were getting married in HF no matter the cost...I think he's happy they lost, secretly, lol.
