TUXES-HELP HELP HELP!!!!

So I am going to go look at tuxes in a couple of weeks and I am stuck.  My wedding colors are Golden Yellow & Navy Blue.  Who wears what color?  Does the Groom wear black, and the grooms men navy blue? My bridemaids are in Navy blue, so it would make sence to put the groomsman in Navy blue as well, but is that how its supposed to work? Are all the groomsmen supposed to wear black & the Groom Blue?  I dont know if there is a specific way of doing things.  Is anyone able to help me?

    There's no right or wrong way. I think you'll have the best luck with all of the guys in black tuxes, and then you can choose vests in different colors to make the groom stand out.

    However, I'd suggest letting your fiance pick the attire for him and his guys, within reason. After all, you did pick out your gown and the bridesmaid dresses.

    My bridesmaids wore dark blue (DB's marine) while the groomsmen wore black tuxes with marine vests and a coordinating patterned tiie.  We had butter yellow boutinieres for the guys.  The girls bouquets were yellow billballs, white callas and blue hydrangea.   We worked with Men's wearhouse which has a pallette of coordinating colors to DB.  

    The best thing to do is get a sample of the navy for the bridesaids dresses (button, thread etc) and go with your fiance to the tux shop.  My DH knew he wanted everyone to look good; but did not know how to pull that off.  He needed me as a sounding board for what would look good.

    Lest I sound like a controlling bridezilla...he did pick out the tuxes.

    I agree to have all the guys in black tuxes and let your FI pick as far as vests and ties.  Either all of them with yellow or all blue or the groom different.  I think Magdala's sounds really nice

    There is no right way. There is only what you like and what you want. The tux place will match what you have pretty much. GL
