Do you think it'll be weird to have a Father and daughter in-law dance? Not sure of how FI's dad will react when I ask him

    Haha depends if he is awkward or not . . .my dad is totally a short little awkward sri lankan man but he knows he will have to dance with me. My best friend whose dad passed away when she was young is asking her step grandfather . . .I think the father daughter dance doesn't really matter unless it is someone very close to your heart.

    my closest grand-dad passed away 4 years ago and my dad passed not too long ago..so those options are out the door. Plus, I think that it'll mean a lot to FI and his dad if we had the father/daughter in-law dance. BUT what song?!

    Lovely Day - Bill Whithers? That song makes me happy...it's just a happy song.

    I'm not sure. I will think this one over, because it's boggling my mind.

    A hindi song? Sri Lankan song?

    Haha no sri lankan songs are appropriate . . .I am obsessed with Michael Jackson (hence the name) and I think mine is going to be "ill be there" but we are having a live band play it. My favorite line that reminds me of my dad is "If you should ever find someone new, I know he better be good to you"
