Planning a destination wedding has some challenges but thanks to fellow knotties we found excellent resources here..and made good selections. Thanks to all of you for advice & help.

Mike was so, so good. He met with us, got the feel of the guests, provided a timeline & helped keep things going. Very responsive to the crowd and knew how to keep them on the dance floor. He also did the ceremony which went without a hitch..he gave it a personal touch that made it quite touching.
Cake - Peacock Feather Cake A
Michelle was so creative and immediately knew how to provide a little touches that made the cake personal, adding to the decor. I didn't get any because there wasn't much left & everyone commented on the excellent taste & variety.
Flowers - Beth @ Wildflowers A ++
Beth took time to listen to the essence of what we were trying to capture, offered ideas, and truly went above & beyond what we expected! She wowed us all...
Candy for OOT bags - Charleston Candy Company B+
Mandy offered several ideas & provided reasonable cost estimates; she delivered on time & fresh product. The only down side was you had to move quickly in the heat to keep the products from melting, etc.
Chair Covers - Chair Covers by Nicole A
Nicole's ideas to go a little non traditional proved to be a nice finishing touch. She was early, did the personal setup herself & ensured we were happy before she left. Quite lovely!
Photography - Amy Prikazsky
Amy was always response to our questions & did exactly what was requested. She was on time, prompt, kept us informed...and pretty much we didn't see her after the formal photos but she was everywhere taking shots. Can't wait to see them.
Photography - Caitlin Jamison
Caitlin is a very creative photographer, looking for those up front and close shots that capture the moment. Made it very personal to capture the personalities. Did some excellent shootings with backgrounds we never thought about. Again, hoping for great quality & we're sure we wont be disappointed. Traveld from NC to help with rehearsal dinner & wedding day shots.
Overall, things went well & the happy couple were truly pleased with the outcome!
