Father/Daughter Dance

Hi Brides,
I need some help...My father and I were never very close while I was growing up and in the past 5 years we have been building our relationship. I want to have a father/daughter dance, but should I let him be the one to pick the song or is it ok for me to present him with the song that I would like us to dance to?

    I would talk to him. Maybe he has something in mind. I know my Dad did. Even if he does, you could still use his song and also pick one yourself. My husband danced to 2 different songs with his Mom.
