Hi ladies,
Thinking ahead...were getting married next July! Were getting married in corolla. Im wondering if any of you ladies have had any experience with getting a group hotel discount with any hotel in the area?

The only place I have spoken to in Corolla is the Hampton Inn. The hotel is really nice, I stayed there one time in the OBX. It has a nice beach area and pool.

The only problem is they won't "hold" rooms for your guests, which means if you have people who wait until a month before or so, it could be (and especially in the summer probably without a doubt will be) booked, leaving you without any rooms. Also, the price could vary (i.e. they won't lock in a rate for you, so if rates increase your guests have to pay whatever the rate is). But they will give them a 10% discount. And distribution of any welcome bags are free. Hope this helps you!

Thank You!! Hampton Inn is the closest to our venue, so this helps..10% discount is better than nothing!

Yes, the Hampton Inn. We told our guests this:

For weekend stays, there is a 10% discount for the Hampton Inn & Suites. Call the hotel directly and reference the xxxx/xxxx wedding before 7/13/2011. You may also be able to reserve the Hampton online and prepay (but no changes allowed) for better pricing.

Depending on where you're getting married, there's also the Inn at Corolla right near the lighthouse. FI and I were there last weekend and it sounds like their rooms are cheaper and you can get a block of room reserved. Still waiting on an e-mail with their event block info, but since there's a hurricane coming, I'm certainly not expecting the info for a little bit.

Oh, also Corolla Light is a great place for smaller rentals.
