  I think the straps make it more unique! Everyone has strapless gowns.

  
  

  I think what really makes the other dress pop is the other colored sash, which is really defining her waist.

  Is that an Alfred Angelo dress?  If so, that's my dress (except I had 3/4 sleeves added on).  I think you should keep the straps the way they are.  You look gorgeous in that photo!

  Keep the straps.  You loved it when you first bought it with the straps right?  How do you know you will still love it on you without straps.  Seeing a dress on someone else is completely different then seeing it on yourself.
  
  Also, you have to consider your budget and how much changing your dress to strapless would cost.

  I agree with the PP who said that what's making the second pic really pop is that the sash is emphasizing the girl's waist really nicely. I think if you're going to do anything, then maybe do that. Also, the second photo girl has a totally different body type, looks like a lot more up top, which changes the way the proportions look. I'm assuming that's the OP in the first pic, and I think the sleeves look great.

  Wow, those look like 2 totally different dresses!  I personally prefer strapless.  With that said, you chose the straps for a reason.  Would you be totally comfortable in a strapless?  If you love it with the straps, keep it!  You look great in it!

  Keep the straps! It's a gorgeous dress. There are so many strapless dresses out there--this one is unique! My sister actually had straps added to her strapless dress. Don't even get me started on how attractive it is (not!) when a bride is constantly pulling up her dress. You should be comfortable and secure in how it fits!

  I much prefer strapless! But its about what YOU love. You chose the dress with straps for a reason, right? You might be having a little dress regret and second guessing yourself. Trust your first instinct!
