Signature Drink

Any ideas for signature drinks that don't require liquor.  My venue only allows champagne, wine, and beer.  I would really like to do something pink.

TIA!!!

Re: Signature Drink

  • In a magazine I saw they put round, different fruit flavored, like blackberry, peach and  different flavored lolllipops in the chamagne. It said the champagne took some of the flavor from the lollipops. the picture looked cute too.
  • What about sangria?  Or mimosas?  Or cranberry juice and champagne?

  • A good idea would be to buy fresh fruit puree (most bars rely on "Oasis" brand, which you can buy at Cash'n'Carry or Costco like stores or perhaps your local liquor store carries it) and add it to champagne.  Some pink shades you could do would be guava, raspberry, or strawberry.  You could also add pomegranite juice (we call them 'pomosas').  You could do fruit-like sangrias with a medley of fresh berries or citrus added to your wines (freeze the fruit first so they keep shape/texture/cool).  If you like watermelon, experiment with a mixture of lemon juice, champagne, and grenadine (the combo tastes like a bubbly watermelon jolly rancher).  They do sell rose champagne which is slightly pink already.  "Shanty's" are equal mixes of light beer (ex: Bud lt) with 7-up.  You could add food coloring or a little cranberry juice for color.  Good Luck!Smile

  • Wine spritzers or sangria.  White wine strawberry sangria would probably be pink.
