Cost effective replacement for Clarisonic?

I'd like to get a Clarisonic, but can't justify spending the money (it's definitely an investment to me). Has anyone used a similiar, more wallet-friendly, product that they've really liked?

Re: Cost effective replacement for Clarisonic?

  • Have you ever used one?  I too was debating it until I had a facial done with one a few weeks ago. My skin looked amazing so now I'm planning on getting one.  I know Oil of Olay makes a simliar version.
  • Ulta makes one too, I think it's about $30. I don't know how effective it is, but I know you can return it if you don't like it.
  • I have the Olay one and like it. I've never used an actual Clarisonic though, so I can't compare the two. But the Olay spinning brush is 100% a huge step up from using my hands or a washcloth. It leaves my skin baby soft. i think it was about $30.

  • I've only used thae but I love it. I do need a replacement head though and I heard from one person that you can just buy the Olay ones and they fit the clarisonic too. Anyone know if that's true?

  • I have to rave about the microderm abrasion facial at ulta along with the dermal clay clenser by dermilogica. My skin looks fantastic. In the past two months my skin has improved so much I basically don't even wear foundation anymore. It was pretty pricey for me to do both the past two months leading up to the wedding but I don't regret spending the money at all. And this is from a girl who has been buying the same Neutrogena facial cleanser since high school.

  • I had no idea Ulta did facials! They are so much cheaper than the salons around here!
