Is anybody getting married on a Friday or Sunday? And if so what made you decided to do so?

    Sunday. I am in church on Sat so that isn't an option. Plus holiday weekend so guest are off on Monday.

    Are you having a evening wedding? I thinking of doing a Friday evening to save money. I'm just scared people won't RSVP.

    Sunday.... my venue allowed us to have a lower minimum on Sunday.

    Saturday. It costs the same regardless at my venue, but we saved a little since our wedding is in October and it's not considered "wedding season". From April-August, it's usually more expensive

    we are doing a friday evening wedding. It was definately cheaper than saturday  plus we gat a little bit of for having it in April (even though thats considered wedding season in AZ)

    I'm having a Friday evening wedding.  I actually always wanted to have a Friday wedding and reception.  My venue charges a flat rate per person regardless of the day so cost werent a factor.  Don't worry people will RSVP.

    Saturday afternoon.  We saved about $4,000.00.  At our venue, Saturday afternoon weddings are cheaper that Friday evening.

    Yes we are. Ceremony is at 6:30pm Reception is from 7-12

    My aunt did a Friday evening wedding and all of her guests came.  She had an awesome turnout.  I think her ceremony started at 5:30.

    Saturday.... paid more to have it on Saturday too but since its a DW, Saturday is more convienient for my guests.

    Saturday. In Vegas the price wasn't too big of a difference between Fri/Sun or Saturday.  Plus since its a DW we chose a date when most would be able to attend and not have to take off too much work.

    We are having our wedding on a Sunday afternoon and it is cheaper than a friday and saturday wedding. It really don't matter about the time of the day because it's the same price regardless. we are saving about 3K to 4K by having a Sunday event.

    Saturday.  When I booked my venue, they didn't have minimums at the time (this has changed since 2011) and you get the venue all day, no matter what weekend day it is.  Plus FI and I never wanted to get married on any other day besides Saturday.  It's Fourth of July weekend so it'll be a nice long weekend for the majority of people.

    Friday...we are doing early evening, 5 or 5:30pm (to catch the sunset).  This saved us $1700 on the venue alone!  And I wanted a Fri or Sun wedding anyway...

    Ours is on a Saturday at our venue there wasnt a diff in price on the day.

    Sunday, it was about 30%- 40% off from all vendors because it's an "off" day. Saved us lots of $$$

    Saturday.  There was no change in fee structure for a Friday or Sunday wedding at my venue. 



    Love is the ultimate superpower.   
    It can make you weak and strong simultaneously.

    Late "Friday" evening (7:30pm) because it's cheaper and it will give us the "Partay" vibe we want.

    Saturday. I didn't want a Friday cause of DC rush hour traffic & didn't really give Sunday a thought. I've never been to a wedding on any other day besides Saturday, so I just went with what I was used to.

    Sunday, we're in church on Saturday. Had no other choice but a Sunday or weekday wedding. Saved us a bunch too.

    Sunday - during Labor Day weekend.  We wanted to give guests more time to travel, instead of having to take Friday off to get down here.  I've gotten a few discounts with vendors because they were having Sunday specials on pricing.

    Sunday during Columbus Day weekend. We saved a little bit but only about $1600.
