I found a very cute save the date magnet but I could not find the matching invitation set. Would it be wrong or bad etiquette to send out mismatched save the date cards and invitations.

No. I think it's fine. Most people won't compare them and say "Hey, why don't they match?" If you can get the colors to not completely clash it's probably fine.

Not at all. Ours looked nothing alike, because we used photo cards for the Save the Dates and traditional invitations.

Nope not a problem. Many guests may not even still HAVE the STD when the invite arrives. If they do, they really won't care that they don't match.

Nope! We made our own STD magnets, they were along the same line, but they didn't match either!
