BM dresses

I found a dress that I love for my BM's (in the red claret color). I have shown them and they all say they like it (some more excited about it than others, but all said they like it). Is it wrong for me to make an "executive decision" that this should be the BM dress? They are the ones wearing it (and buying it!) so I want to make sure I am not being a bridezilla about it!

thoughts?

here is the dress (in claret)

It's not "wrong" per se.  However, you need to check with each BM individually about their budget prior to selecting a dress.  If the dress is out of anyone's budget, you should find a different dress, or offer to pay the difference.

Yes, check with everyone individually. I might easily say I like a dress if you were just browsing and showing me dresses, but when it was time to actually choose the dress, I would be wanting more details like cost, and even if I like the dress, I might not be able to purchase it.

    thanks ladies!

(i did previously speak about it (cost) with them each individually)... they were comfortable spending around $200 (but i felt that was too much)... this dress is $150.

I would have them try on the dress before you make a decision.  The dress could look great on the models but horrible on your BMs.

Try it on first, especially if you have someone larger, or large chested.  "Bodyhugging" doesn't work for everyone.
My baby girl is a married woman...and now my baby girl HAS a baby girl. Time unfolds in such an amazing way. I've been blessed!

I'd really get them to try on the dress. I found a few that I thought I loved, and they looked terrible on 3 of my bridesmaids so they got nixed (we shopped a bit early because one lives abroad, was in town, and wanted input on the dress). They ended up choosing something completely different. You just never know how something is going to look until you actually try it on. I actually hate the pictures of the dress we chose on the model, but it looked awesome on my friends.
