I need your help. I need to get invitations figured out and have no idea how to word them. My parents along with My fiances father and step-mother are splitting the costs of the wedding. My fiance wants to still put his mother on the invitation. My mom strongly disagrees with that because she has not helped with ANYTHING, or been involved really. She is just showing up. My fiance's family is old-school Italian, and his father feels its nice to include her. I don't know what to do. I agree with my mom, and tradition is the invitation should be coming from who is hosting and paying for the wedding.
Somebody suggested this....does this sound right? PLEASE HELP!!! any suggestions is appreciated.
