Pat O and Riverview brides

Has anyone had a wedding in either of these venues with 200 guests? Is there enough seating in the space?

    We visited the Riverview Room last week and they told us they could provide full seating for about 150 for a buffet reception for 225.  I got the impression they might provide more seating if you were having a more expensive plated reception but I'm not sure.  Just give them a call and I'm sure they'll let you know.

    I'm having 350-400 people at Pat O's and they didn't bat an eye at the number. They have between 180 and 200 seats (inside) for a coktail/buffet reception. i think there's another 30-40 outside on the balcony. I plan on having my guests dancing the WHOLE wedding, so I doubt we willl use all the seats :)

    Not many reception venues in New Orleans are set up for seated receptions. You usually have to do a hotel for that.
