It's all over the nest. It makes me cringe, big time. And her 'apology' is such bull. I can't control how people think, but it upsets me that someone thinks an opinion like this should be published. And seriously, an anorexic telling people that fat people should be able to control their eating? Not everyone has as much self control as you do, darlin.

Yeah, I'm shocked they would have even put this out there. I think it's a double-edged sword right now that people are trying to figure out what healthy means because everyone famous is too big or too small, but to say that you're grossed out to watch a fat person walk across the room has no grounds. At least she apologized (I guess) but this is just ridiculous.

Yeah her apology was crap. And she only apologized because of all the backlash Marie Claire was getting. I feel pretty confident in saying she isn't remorseful or sorry about what she wrote.

That was disturbing. I don't know what Marie Claire is (a magazine, I guess? Online blog?) but I doubt she meant her apology. Like PP said, you can't write that and not know that you're going to offend people, or that you came off as a pretentious skinny bitch (is she skinny? I didn't look for a picture).

Woooooow. Obviously she was out of line. But you want to know what really pisses me off? That this sophomoric bitch has a job writing at a magazine, a HUGE magazine in fact, when she clearly has no writing talent, a limited vocabulary, no understanding of op-ed journalism and works for some hack editor to boot while I sit in my cubicle tinkering with spreadsheets after years of looking for a job like that. I hope she collapses walking across the room b/c her bones and muscles are so damaged for her years of anorexia and a fatty like me steps on her.

This article makes me sick! How heartless and self righteous must this woman be? And what editor actually approved this article to be published? I hope she and her editor are being punished.

Her apology is crap. She's more so defending her original comments than apologizing for them. Very few things really offend me any more these days (probably because I'm so desensitized to things) but this really, really upsets me. What a mean, sad individual to write things like that.

Ah, yeah I go straight for the cooking magazines and Woman's World-types, so I never see any fashion or girly-related magazines (except for the occasional Cosmo).
