Planet Hollywood in-suite reception

Hello
Has anyone had an in-suite reception at Planet Hollywood in either the Panorama or Boulevard Suite?
I am having 60-70 guest and want to know if that many people will fit comfortably in the Panorama or Boulevard suite? Did you have PH carter in the food or someone else? Are there any negatives I should be aware of?

Thanks for your help
Sarah

I'm having an in-suite at the MGM Grand. The MGM listed on their wedding website how many their suites can hold. If the PH website doesn't list it...I'd call and ask. I'm having outside companies for the cake and catering. Which of course is a no-no with the hotel. I'm just going to have one of my guests meet the cake person and the caterer in the lobby to escort them up. My wedding coordinator even said herself that she knows many couples who have their in-suite there have outside companies. Basically if you go that route....don't make a big deal of it or obvious. My caterer even said that they deliver to hotels all the time and know what they're doing. Good luck!

If I remember correctly those suites wouldn't be large enough. At least that's what I was told when I called. Their Apex suite is not online you have to call and get information. Some girls have been lucky and others like myself couldn't get it for one night the min. was 2 nights. From what I was told when I called was that they do really frown upon outside food but there really isn't too much they can say. Another PH person I spoke with told me absolutely not you can not bring in outside food or drinks. I guess you can just don't expect their help. If it weren't for the 2 night min and my ever growing guest list I would have gone with the Apex suite.

I just had my after party in the Boulevard suite. There is no way that would fit 60-70 people in there. We were 15 and that was good- I would probably say it would fit 30-40 people. Pip.x

Hey Sarah, We went through Masterpiece Cuisine. They were great. I called them and told them we were really just looking for figner type foods. I gave them our budget amount and they came up with a great proposal for us. They have a lot to choose from too.  Let me know if you want their contact info. ~Mattie

Sarah, I don't know if you guys are dead set on PH, but I know the MGM definitely has suites that can accommodate up to people. I don't know about other hotels.

Check out PH's APEX suite... its not on their website, but if you Google APEX suite in PH you will see a ton of pic's. 6to8 had her after party thee, and she said it was more then big enough for 70 ppl. I am having my in-suite rec in the APEX, we are going to have Jason's deli and or Costco cater. I have a week of coordinator that will running around grabbing all the food and liquor. We will not have a sit down reception, rather a heavier appraiser. email at threemarie24 @ gmail.com if you have more questions
