Music for the Ceremony

Have you decided on your ceremony music yet?  We have picked out of pre-ceremony music but not the order and I know the song I will be walking down the asile to, but I don't know what to use for my ladies to walk down the asile.  For me, it will be "Mama's Song" by Carrie Underwood.

Our Pre-Ceremony music is:
"I'm Gonna Miss Her" by Brad Paisley (running joke between my hony and I)
"Truly" by Lionel Richie
"Take My Breath Away" by Berlin
"When I'm with You" by Sheriff
"Waitin' on a Woman" by Brad Paisley (again, a running joke)

We want the wedding to have a playful air to it.  While it is a very serious occasion, it should also be a time for laughter and fun.  Any suggestions for the bridesmaid's music?

  • I have decided on my music. All of it will be sung by soloist!

    Pre-Ceremony:Soft music played by pianoist
Parent entrance: Forever in Love-Kenny G
    Bridesmaid entrance:I Promise Cece Winans
FG/My Entrance: The Wedding Song by John P Kee
    Unity Candle: The Lord's Prayer
    Exit: not sure...
  • Our DJ suggested looking in to Vitamin String Quartet.  Definitely something different but with that classical twist.
  • I am struggling with this!

I have a few songs in mind... The only one that I am defiantly for sure on is my entrance - Jonathan Cain bridal march! I love it!

  • We're having a Flamenco Guitar/violin arrangement perform "Romanza" for my processional and for the recessional we're doing "Piel Canela".

They're also doing our pre reception entertainment and then we're having a Latin Band perform with their DJ to play english songs (for me!).

I've been creating a wedding song list for instance:
"You Dropped a Bomb on Me" The Gap Band
"I Belong to You" Lenny Kravitz
"I go Blind" Hootie and the Blowfish

But I have no idea what order to play them in or how to incorporate it with the band.
