hello Baltimore beauties!I am in the early stages of planning a wedding for early june 2010. i am looking for a funky non traditional photograper who is willing to work with my puny budgetany suggestions?

    There are several photographers in the area willing to work with a small budget. What is your budget for photography? That will help us narrow down the options.

    Definitely define "puny" budget... a few of the more popular lower priced photogs are Mandi White, Jenni (Forever Yesterday), Tender Images (Matt Fuller), Brian Ray Studios... I might be missing one.  I used Tender Images but they are all great!

    Yep- definitely need to define "puny" at least with a range. Charles Funk is another great option.

    well i keep being overwhelmed by how much everything costs but is $1500 unrealistic?I could probably stretch it to $2000 but that is my max

    Matt @ Tender Images is $2,000 but its a very inclusive package so he might be willing to work with you if you don't want e-pics and some things.  All of the ones I mentioned should be in that range.  $1500 is realistic if you don't need any frills.  A lot of photogs at that price range have limited time restraints and things like that.  Look at their styles and contact them and let them know "my budget is X what does that get me".  They set up packages for convenience but almost every vendor I talked to was willing to customize a package to meet my needs.

    As long as your expectations are realistic, you should be ok.  You can get a great photographer here for that price;  find a photographer that will give you a DVD of pics w/ reproduction rights and you can save a lot of money on prints/albums by doing them yourself.I suggest Brian.  He worked with my "puny" budget as well, and he was awesome.  Pics in wedding bio.www.brianraystudios.com

    I'm using Stephanie Miller Photography in Annapolis.  I think she also works for another photography studio, but her packages include a decent amount and start at $1000.
