Seriously!

So I never posted on this post but I read about people not putting their names on response cards...and I thought...people really aren't that dumb...i mean most of my guests are educated enough to know this right!?  WRONG...I jinxed myself because yesterday I got TWO in the mail with NO NAMES!! One was a decline the other an accept...we think we know who the decline was because it came from NC and we only have a few guests from NC so that was easy...they other one...i guess the process of elimination will help!  I should have used a UV pen!  Genius!!

I am clueless here. What do you use the UV pen for? You put a little number up in the corner with the UV pen, then use a black light later if you need to see who sent it?

mmatron - We  just used a pencil to put on the back of teh RSVP card a small number correlating to who the invite belonged to however some folks use a uv pen to do this or to write the guests names on the back. But pencil in small number upper corner works just as well.

not like i can go back and change it now...but how much is a UV pen and a black light!?

We just used a pencil and wrote it very lightly on the back.  It definitely came in handy!

Yeah I hadn't even thought of numbering the rsvp cards until I read that last post about it.  My rsvps have a design on them that I can (and will) easily conceal where I write numbers.

I sent one RSVP card for each person invited, and wrote their names into the spot...mainly so I knew what dish each person was getting.

After dealing with this as a bridesmaid in other people's wedding, I wrote in the names of everyone on their response cards for them.  (This also helped people understand the no, your kids are not invited thing too.)
