FI and I had been trying to decide what type of car we wanted for our limo until we were meeting with a photographer and they pointed out we wouldn't need limos since we're having the ceremony and reception at the same location. Haha.. nice surprise! I'll miss being with the girls in the limo but it'll save a lot of $$Cake: Our cake is included in our package at our venue. We're doing a 4 tiered square cake with buttercream frosting. We want the icing to be light pink and have gold ribbons going around the bottom of each tier and have silk butterflies cascading down the side of the cake. Dress: Maggie Sottero AdelaideBridal Shop: My mom! My mom's a seamstress and she's going to reconstruct the Maggie dress I fell in love with at Mariella's in Rocky Hill. She made my prom dresses in high school and has actually done whole wedding parties and made my aunt's wedding dress so I know she'll do a fantastic job and I'll be saving $$$ here too. :0)Grooms/GM Attire: FI wants to use Mens Wearhouse. FI and all the guys will wear black tuxes. FI will have a white vest and tie to match me. The two best men will wear gold ties and vests, and the other 5 groomsmen will wear light pink vests and ties.. and they're actually ok with it! Whoo-hoo!BP Attire (Designer/Dress #): I'm trying to make a final decision between an Alfred Angelo and a Bari Jay dress. Either way the two MOH's will wear the dress in gold with a light pink sash and the other 5 bridesmaids will wear the same dress but in light pink with a gold sash. Misc.: Soooo stoked for our HM to Fiji!! I just wanna be far far away from CT and do nothing but relax and be with my new DH for 10 days.. ahhh bliss.
