Rehearsal dinner rename

I'm looking for an alternative name for the rehearsal dinner so that it doesn't sounds so stuffy.  The only thing I've found is "Wedding tailgate."  We are not football fans, so this doesn't so much work.  Any other ideas?Thanks,Rebecca

    What about "Our Wedding Pre-Party"??? Or something _ Pre-Party?? That's the first thing that popped into my head !:)

    I'm planning on calling it the "Welcome Dinner" especially since most people attending the wedding will be from out of town.

    Welcome dinner may work.  Hm.  Maybe something more inspiring will come to mind after the theme develops more... :)
