Mo: Bedroom stencil pictures

I took some pictures tonight of the stenciling.  I still have some touching up to do from where I painted the trim, but I'm so happy the painting is pretty much done.  Also, a bonus picture of the French doors we painted white to match the rest of the doors/trim in the room.  Both that and the stenciling were so time consuming but I'm happy with the results. .     ohhh, i like that a lot. are those different shades, or the same color in matte/gloss? love the french doors, too. nice work!

    Thanks!We had them custom mix a color between the wall color and one shade lighter in a glossy paint.  There's less contrast in person, though.  It's really subtle.

    Oh Sarah, that's beautiful! I cannot imagine how time consuming it was, but your effort totally paid off. Your wall color is one of my favorites. All my dishes are a hazy blue, and I painted my office a similar color. I just bought a bunch of 12 x 12 mirror tiles, and I'm going to have them over my dresser, instead of buying the tradional mirror that came with my furniture. I am thinking of doing a 3 x 4 grid, but there are no hangers on the back of the mirrors. The hardware store guy sold me some mirror tape, which is great, but you have to be super precise when you hang, because they won't budge once the are hung. I'm nervous! I also bought all new bedding, and bedside lamps this week. It's NINE pillows on my bed. It feels a little obnoxious. I'll have to post a pic and you can give me some input.

    That mirror sounds awesome.  And don't be too nervous.  I would just draw a grid on the wall in pencil before I put the tape up, and then you'll have a guide for all mirror edges.Please post pictures of your bedding.  That's one of the things we're still working on.  I've got to convinve Brett we need more pillows, and we will end up with at least 9, I'm sure.

    Oooo SB, it looks really good!  You've got a good eye.  I should just hire you to decorate my house for me.  I'm also impressed with your get up and go about getting all this stuff done.  You're like my doppleganger.
