Florist Reccomendations?

I've heard about a couple of local florists going out of business unexpectedly and I'm a little nervous now about finding one.  Who are you guys using?

    We used Jerry Stambaugh, of designs by Jerry, and were thrilled with everything (esp. the prices). Since he does it kind of as a hobby out of his home, the chances of him going out of business are low. I unfortunately don't have his phone number handy.

    Jeannette, Her phone number is on my planning bio under vendors. She works out of her home and totally makes you feel exclusive and special. Plus she's big time budget friendly!

    We used Flowers on Orchard Lane. I love Jan and everything turned out amazing. I hear she has a minimum now though which is turning a lot of people away.

    I'm using Bella Floral Designs Inc.  It's a mother/daughter duo.  Shari (the daughter) is wonderful; so easy to work with, and she really listens to what you want!  I haven't met her mother yet, but i'm sure she's just as great.  She also will work with your budget.  Her email is FlowerGirl@BellaBouquets.com  and her website is www.bellabouquets.com

    I am using Mandy w/ Manor House Flowers. She also is a home based business (i.e. low overhead) she does not have a minimum and can order and do anything you can imagine. Check her out at manorhouseflowers.com. I cannot say enough about her. She is freakin' amazing!!!!!!!

    I'm using Mikelle Hickman-Romine, she also works out of her home - mikelle.net. I'd also recommend Carol Prond at the Whole Foods in Dublin - they're not going anywhere!

    I'd also suggest Heather at Bloomtastics. She did the flowers at our 7/18 wedding and it was all well beyond what I had expected. Check out my pictures a few posts up in you want to see what the bouqets and arch flowers looked like.
