What's your flower budget?

If it's not too personal, do you mind telling me what's your flower budget? I love flowers but I'm extremely open. My budget is around $12k and I really don't know what's a reasonable budget for flowers. And also if you have a reasonable florist I would love recs. Thanks Ladies.

My overall budget is about the same as yours and we're good with the quote for flowers being 650 and under.... Our florist was awesome. I asked for a lot and so I gave her a ballpark guess of 750 and she was like 'i think 650 is more the range we're looking at.' I was so excited. her name is Jeannette Young and her phone # is on my planning bio, under vendors. HTH!

Thanks Erin! I'm for sure calling her. If you don't mind what all did that include?

I paid under $600 for my ceremony flowers . . . Orchids & Ivy Flower Post in Canal Winchester - Karla is the best and she's featured in Columbus Bride mag every issue!  I used a friend for the reception flowers to save money (she's giving me a break), but she said she usually charges $2500 for what she's doing for me.  I have 25 tables, plus a head table - 12 tall arrangements and 17 short plus head table decor.  Her work is impeccable.  She a designer and if anyone needs her info I'd be happy to pass it on.

me + 6 bridesmaids, 6 groomsman bouts, 3 parent/g.parent bouts, 4 coursages, 10 tall vases filled + floating candel, 2 big ceremony vases... i'm trying to remember without my thing. anyway plus she's going to teach me how to make the other half of my centerpieces. and she gave me a defferent option for my flower girls than a pomander. (cheaper if i can find the stuff)we looked at in season flowers and i was open to substatuting some of my picks for cheaper look-a-likes. she's really cool and down to earth. she asked me how much I wanted to pay then told me if it was do-able within that range.

My budget was 6k overall, and we spent bout 350 on flowers - around 200 for our pro flowers (my bouquet, the altar piece, and 6 or 7 bouts/corsages each), and $150 (i think) for misc roses from globalrose.com - had a dozen or so flowers for each table, and tons to spare.

I'm shooting for around $500 and since I'm using daisies and other "cheaper" flowers I think it'll work out :)
