I was thinking about doing little cards asking my friends to be my bridesmaids.Those who have used this idea, did your FI do this for his groomsmen?Or is that "not cool" How did he ask? Did he just ask when he saw them?Over beers?

I just did that for my bridesmaids this past weekend (well half of them, so far). I am giving all of them their gift and card in person and one was in town from out of state, one from out of town, and one was in town but moving to k-zoo. It went over really well and they all thought it was really nice. They were also impressed with my DYI craftiness (which was so simple, but for me, so much!) so I was happy with the whole thing. My FI said he was not doing gifts or cards he would just ask them personally when he thought it was the right time.

I did this for my BMs (i made them with dress designs from totally horrible '80s and '90s BM dress patterns) and mailed them. It was fun when they all called me back and were laughing and "accepting". ANYWAY, as for my FI, I think he saw the reaction I got and said "should I do that?" but in the end, dudes are too cool for that, and I think he called and/or emailed all of them (a nice note, some are out of state).

i'm with ejay...i gave each of my girls a yellow rose with a poem about friendship attached & also a little card asking them to stand by me on our wedding day. FI is just asking his guys when it feels comfortable when they see each other

I made cards for my girls. There's a pic in my bio. My FI just asked the guys in person. There's no way he'd even consider a card or anything special. He's way too cool for that! (Do you sense the sarcasm??) lol

our main color is pale yellow...and i want a ton of roses. so this fit perfectly! gave the girls a little preview of what we'd be doing

I gave them cards with a note asking....some really cute glittery girly cards I got at Papyrus. Dh just asked....I can't see guys being all sentimental like that unless if maybe it was the bride to be asking as a couple.

I didn't do anything special... I just asked them all in person. In fact, one of my bridesmaid (also a former coworker) was in the process of getting peed on by a very annoying dog as I asked her.... romantic isn't it? hehe.

i mailed them cards and wrote something along with it. all the girls loved it!! i got the cutest cards on etsy

FI basically just called them up, or when he saw them, asked them.

Higgy that is too funny! I did find some cards from etsy i was probably going to order,eventhough I could probably DIY them.But not as good as I have seen on there
