Kid friendly things on the strip/close by?

I go to Vegas a lot, but I don't have kids. It sounds like my FSIL is going to come, and they have three year old twins.

We are set with hotels, but what kidfriendly things are there to do on or near the strip? I think they are too young for Circus Circus and the place by MM world. It will be November so the pool probably won't be open.

What am I forgetting?

Ideas so far:
MM World
Coca Cola Store
Aquarium at Mandalay Bay
Animals at Mirage
Flamingo gardens is that still there?
Circus Circus
Gondola rides at Venetian
Top of the Eiffel Towe
Is FAO Schwartz still at Caesar's?
Bellagio Fountains and Atriu
Lions at MGM

Help?

Re: Kid friendly things on the strip/close by?

  • Sorry for the crappy formatting, will fix when I get on the computer. :
  • Last I heard that Lions left the MGM, but I could be wrong, FAO has been gone for a while. there are the rides on the top of the stratosphere, a few of the casinos still have arcades, NYNY has it's rollercoaster

  • Yep FAO was replaced by H&M.

In addition to the other things you've found, I think Excalibur has a lot of kid stuff since that's the market that hotel is aimed at.

3 yr old is a tough one. They are too young for the rides or any thing like that. I think the best bet would be any animal type activity. The dolphin show at Mirage, or shark reef at MB. I think they'll enjoy the MM store at MGM.
  • Thank you, let me know if you think of anything else!

  • Just confirming the lions have left MGM

    Othere options can be

    Sky show at RIO
The show at the Forum shops
    Flamingo Wildlife Habitat

I don't know where you are staying but the Mandalay Pool can normal occupy young kids all day with the beach and the waves.

<div>Yeah I was sad when I found this out when we went for Thanksgiving in 2010 lol. I wanted to take my daughter there but it was gone. I used to go there ALL THE TIME as a kid whenever we went to Vegas.</div><div>
</div><div>OP, I'm not sure if the Palms still has it but they had some kids place/daycare thing that my parents would drop us off at sometimes while they gambled at the Palms. But that was YEARSSS ago before the big renovation so like I said, I'm not sure if they have it anymore.</div>
  • I don't think the childcare is there anymore.  I think it was called KidsQuest.

  • Gameworks next to M&M's world where your kids can play video games or games to earn tickets :).

  • What about the Bellagio fountain show?  I think a 3 year old would like that.
