Yaaay! Well, I've been rockin out at boot camp 3 mornings a week. I really need to get the eating under control better and do some sort of workout on my off days and I'll be good to go! I've just gotta give myself a high-five for getting up at 5 AM!!!! :)

I guess I'll go.... life has been pretty crazy for me this week with meeting a huge deadline this Friday so lets just say my eating has taking a toll for the worse if thats possible. I have been working out almost every day and signed up for a 15 K and the UCF 5 miler...

Geez! 5 am?! That deserves an accolade in itself!  What kind of stuff do they do at Bootcamp?

Short burts of high intensity followed but short periods of active rest. Ha. Basically, we workout out at super high intesity (circuits, partner workouts, obstacle courses) for a few minutes and then rest for about 1/3 of that time. For example, today I was the only one that showed up.  So, I had to run at full speed for 30 seconds, do high knees for 30 seconds, jumping jacks for 30 seconds, butt kicks for 30 seconds, push ups for 30 seconds and bear crawls for 30 seconds - then I rested for about a minute and a half.  Repeat.  Or, they change the routine up.  It's cool though. Let me know if you ever wanna try it. She has evening classes too.  It's in Maitland.

Just got home from my last summer dance class and found out I'm moving up a level in my lyrical/contemporary class in the fall :) Since it's my only class that's not adults-only, I'm pretty proud of myself--take that limber teens!

Going to the gym 5 days a week and doing Jillian Michael circuits, yoga on Sundays, AND I finally found a dance studio close enough to my house that I'm happy with! (Thanks for the rec, rosepourpe, but Leggz was to far away.) I am happy to say that I am less than 10 pounds away from my target weight, and I seem to have gotten into a consistent downward trend. I'm still 8% away from my target total body fat, but hopefully that will change soon, too. Woot!

BTW, bravo, rosepourpe! That's definitely something to be proud of. :) I feel like I'm stuck in between the leveled classes and the adult classes... we'll see how it goes at this new studio. Excited!!

Pretty Parula: glad to hear you found a good  studio. I'm sure it will feel great to get back into dance. I'm usually stuck between the two as well, so I take two adult classes and one leveled one. We have 2 weeks off (so kids can get settled into school), but I can't wait for the Fall session to start.
