Outdoor Wedding near RO or Detroit

Any suggestions for outdoor receptions near Royal Oak or in Detroit? I am from Royal Oak and would prefer to be within 20-30 min of the area or actually in downtown Detroit. I've been having a hard time finding places for outdoor receptions that aren't super expensive. I'm hoping for under $50 a person because we're paying all of it on our own. We're thinking about 100-150 people. Thanks for your help!

    i've been searching for something similar for a LONG time. all i can say is...good luck! lolIf you don't care about alcohol, have it in a city park!

    Dearborn Hills Golf Club in Dearborn. I checked them out, really nice place. They had reasonable prices, I think they came in around $50pp like you're looking to spend. And they'd fit your # too, we are having 200 guests so I was afraid it was going to be too cramped. They have a really nice outdoor patio area too for guests.

    Thanks for the ideas ladies! I had thought about the Dearborn Hills Golf Course, but was debating. I'll just have to check it on in person. I will also more into the Whitney. Thanks again!

    We're getting married at Crank's by the Lake in Stony Creek Metro Park. It's off of 26 mile and Van Dyke.     I thought about Cranks on the Lake but was worried that if the weather was bad there is no where to go inside. Did you talk to them about this? What did they say?Thanks!
