HELP!! I need alterations!!!

Hi Ladies! I'm looking for a place where I can have alterations done in or around Baltimore. I got my dress in PA and really don't want to have to drive up there for fittings, etc. My wedding is Nov 21st, so I'm kind of in a time crunch.... A frend recommended Maryland Seamstress, but she's closing her shop from Oct- Jan, so I'd have to have my dress DONE 6 weeks before the wedding, with no chance of last minute alterations by the same person..... I'm VERY hesitant to do that..... I know how I get when I'm stressed, so the possibility of me maintaining the same weight for 6 weeks is crazy. Any suggestions??? Thanks SO much for your help!

    I highly recommend Isabel Donnelly in Ellicott City. She's really good - a bit on the pricey side but worth it in the end. Isabel Donnelly 410-750-6734 (home) Good luck!

    I haven't had my alterations done yet but some ladies on this board referred me to Doris Dover at Stella's Bridal. You can just call the store and ask for her.

    I used Doris Dower for my wedding, and could NOT be happier with her and her work.  She was wonderful to work with and my dress came out beautifully!Melissa
