Photo Booth Question....?

for those of u who had a photo booth, did having the photo booth take away from your guests dancing..? or any other comments about having a photo booth?

i haven't had my wedding yet but i did get a photobooth and I asked that question before i got it. they said as long as the photobooth is in the room you are in there shouldn't be a problem. the only time you get a problem like that is when you have the photobooth in the hallway or lobby of the venue, then you will have guests lined up out there rather than in the room with you guys celebrating. plus i figured if it's right there near the dance floor (that's where i'm planning on having mine) people can be dancing while waiting to get their pictures taken. just my two cents.

I'm kinda worried about this, just because the hall is making me have the photobooth outside the room in the lobby, but we'll see what happens.

I went to a wedding where there was a booth and it didn't take away from the dancing at all... It was placed just outside the entrance to the room in the hallway and it was perfect. (this way if you are doing the scrapbook/guestbook thing there is lots of light and it's easier to write your message). The line was never more than maybe 10 people long.... I think if people saw the long line they just went back into the room and kept dancing for a while.

Ive been to a few weddings with them and it doesnt take away at all. It gives people who dont want to dance something to do + there was always a line at the booth and plenty of people dancing.
