Engagement/Save the Date photos

So my fiance and I had planned on taking our pictures at Deep Cut Gardens in Middletown (while keeping our fingers crossed for having some snow on the ground and failing miserably at that!).  Our photographer said that the pictures will probably not be as beautiful as we want, considering there is obviously no fall foliage or snow on the ground.

Anyone have any good places to take pictures?  We are taking them this Sunday (1/6/13), by the way!

    We took our engagement pics there as well!  I was worried since there were no leaves on the ground - the pictures look beautiful though! Good luck!

    I'm taking mine at South Street seaport in NYC. The boats, water and bridges in the background make for gorgeous photos in any season.  I've seen a bunch of beautiful winter engagement photos in Hoboken on the pier and near the train station too.

    Maybe try Holmdel Park instead? They have the ponds and indoor fire/snack bar area that may be good for pictures.  Or Mt. Mitchell in Atlantic Highlands, where you can get awesome NYC skyline views if it's a clear day.

    I thought of Holmdel Park as well.  I also thought of the Laurita Winery in New Egypt, but they don't open until 12:00 and our appointment is at 11:00.

    We have changed our location to Allaire State Park!  It looks so awesome!  Thanks for all the input, ladies!
