Wedding Dress Question

I bought my dress at a sample sale a couple weeks ago.  I wanted to see if I could find picutes of it online so I asked my mother (the dress is being stored at my parents house) if she could see if she could locate the style number.  She said she looked for a tag or label of some sort and couldn't find it anywhere on the dress.  Now I'm worried I was ripped off.  Do wedding dresses usually have a designer label on them somewhere?  If so, where are they generally located? Also, I check the receipt for the dress and the style info on there is relevant only to the dress shop.

I would call the dress shop and ask what the designers style number is...they should be able to tell you from the info on your receipt.  I bought a sample too (that was discontinued), and had the lady at the store write down the sample number for me so I could find a picture of it online!

A lot of dress shops pull out the tags so that you can't just go buy it somewhere else.  That always annoyed me, cuz if you just give good service at a good price people will buy from you anyways... To sum up, it probably is not a rip off, and since you've already bought it, the shop shouldn't have any reason not to tell you what it is.
