I wish I could pull something like that off. Me and shorts or skirts above the knee don't agree with one another. I don't even think I have owned a pair of shorts since I was little.

Hurray someone else! I have refused to wear shorts since I was 16 and everyone acts like that's insane. H insisted on me buying shorts last year because it was so hot and I still wouldn't wear them outside of the house. My archaeology co-workers never understood how I managed to pull 8 hour days in 100F heat in jeans, but I just hate shorts that much.

For me it depends on the shorts or skirt. I don't mind it if they are loose. But I tried on a tight dress at the store about a week ago and all I saw was huge thighs. Don't get me wrong, I have a very good body image, but it just didn't look right. In the summer I wear capris mostly.

And Hulu+! We're going to cancel cable soon. There's just kind of no point to it anymore. Netflix is $13-15 and Hulu is $8. WAYYY cheaper than cable.

HI everyone!

H and I just got back from house hutning. I think we're going to put in an offer on one of the houses! It needs some serious updating, but it's all cosmetic (carpet, appliances, maybe the tile in the bathroom.) BUT it's priced about $20k below the other stuff we've found. Our REA thinks it's the original owners, too, so they probably don't owe anything... which means they're more likely to be willing to negotiate the price with us!
