Moving the Wedding WAY Up!

Welp ladies,FI and I have changed our wedding from May 2010 to October 2009. I'm so excited yet overwhelmed! We scrapped the venue and caterer. Now we are doing the ceremony at the church I was raised in; it's free, and the reception at my sister's home, again free except for the tent rental. Yaaaay for inexpensive! Wish us luck that we can pull off a nice, classy affair in 2 months.

congrats and GL!!...you can do it - just hit up your local board for caterer and rental company recs...also DIY your invites (if you weren't already planning on doing it that way)...and recruit help from your BP or family - you can do it!!

Well Dayum girl! You pullin' a Perry and Trina. We moved ours up from Nov 09 to March 09. U CAN DO IT!!!! Congrats on cutting back on costs too. Your event will be just as beautiful as it would've been in May. Maybe even more with your childhood church. I've always liked the festive feel tents give. You'll be just fine. congrats again!

GL girl! We moved ours up, too (from Aug '10 to Feb '10). Not as much as yours but I was coasting along this summer thinkin' I had time. lol. It sounds like you have some great elements to make your wedding a super special day. It will be nice, classy, AND sentimental which will make it stand out from the average wedding.
