Silk Rose Petals

Has anybody used silk rose petals to line their aisle?  I am torn - I really wanted to line our aisle with petals but real petals are out of our budget.  I ordered some samples from petalgarden.com and they look more "real" than most silk petals but I am just not sure how they would look in mass quantities.  Is it better just to skip the petals entirely?

    i have seen up to 6000 roses petals for 140 dollars in some online sites, for buying flowers online wholesales are a good deal.. as for silk rose petals I think is good you can keep them after the wedding but, natural and fresh can't be beaten!Another idea is just de petaling fresh rose yourself! i have seen prices g down to 50dollars for 25 premium roses

    Some florist will charge $12-15 for a dozen roses cash and carry. Roses come in packs of 25 and a florist in Florida can buy them for .25-.50 a rose. I would talk to florist in your area and see how much they would charge you for a 25 pck of roses, as is. This might save you some money, but you would have to de-petal them yourself. I would get at least 4 packs of 25 to total 100 roses.
