Here's my dilema...after much debate, I have chosen black and ivory as the primary colors for our Oct. 2010 wedding. This is the second marriage for both of us, so there is no need for a formal affair, but we want a nice event none the less. My dress is short, strapless, and ivory. My 17 yr old daughter's dress is short, strapless, ivory with a black waistband and bow. Would it be appropriate to have my groom wear black slacks, black long sleeve dress shirt and ivory tie? He looks sharp in all black, but I don't want it to look like a funeral.
