long tables

We are planning on doing about 4 to 5 long tables, about 40-50 people at each table.Has anyone had any experiences with this? Pro's or con's that I need to think about.Thanks =)

    I don't like that idea. Then you can only talk to the 2 people on either side of you at dinner, and someone is going to get stuck next to someone they don't know. I can't think of any pros for a reason to do this.
