Wedding Invitations & Paper

creative postcard STD wording

Hi all!  I'm designing vintage postcards for our STDs.  We took one of our engagement photos and aged it, and then found a vintage postcard back to write our message.  For the writing on the back, we are using a handwritten font to make it look like we are writing it ourselves, along with the addresses (thank God for mail merging!)

For our message on the back, I thought instead of doing the typical wording/layout it would look more normal for it too look like we are writing it ourselves in paragraph form since it's supposed to look like an old postcard being mailed.  Would this be ok?  Can you think anything better to say?  I'm definitely not the best with words.

"Save the date!

We have decided to tie the knot on June 18th, 2011 in City, State.  We will be sending an invitation soon.  We hope you can join us!
