Went to Macy's today & got necklaces for FI's nieces who are doing the reading at our wedding. Got 2 sterling silver necklaces for 65% off! Super excited to have gotten such a great deal on cute necklaces for them! Also, finished our "kids entertainment bags" for the reception. PIB under DIY projects (at the very bottom) in case anyone wants to take a peak. I've got the template for the coloring book if anyone wants it! :) What did you accomplish on your wedding to do list this weekend?

    awesome!  we got fi's tie for his tux outfit at macy's yesterday, they had some great sales going on.we finally booked our photographer (real photography) and are working on booking the honeymoon (hawaii) right now!  so excited :)

    Jen, congrats on booking Traci & Nick...I know a bunch of knotties rave about them! What island are you going to honeymoon on? I've been dying to get back to Maui since I went 10 years ago!

    we are planning on doing a week, 4 days on oahu and 3 on maui.  i'm really excited, neither one of us has been.  how did you like maui?

    LOVED it! I went with my family for my high school graduation present. We stayed in a condo for a week & did tons of snorkeling, drove the Hana Highway (I think that's what its called) and ate most our meals in Lahiana (spelling?). If its still there...eat at Cheeseburger in Paradise :)

    My mom and I went shopping for her dress. We found a beautiful dress at Macy's for $43!!! I couldn't believe it! She also found her RD dress and shoes! It was a great day at Macy's! I also finished up my BM's gifts! I got them Coach wristlets for $25! I was so excited! Yay for coupons!And I'm halfway done with my at home reception invites! These are so much more work than the actual wedding invites!So far a very productive weekend!

    I finally got the last of the save the dates to the people I could never get their address from.Picked out and booked all the tuxes.Bought reception decor.Went to my cousins wedding and saw what I liked and didn't like.Overall just getting thoes save the dates done makes me really happy!

    Great checks, ladies!This week I've:- Purchased gifts for our priest - Finalized ceremony and ceremony music with our priest/church musician- Bought OOT bags- Bought supplies to make a gift for one of our readers- Decided on gift for our other reader (my sister, who is SO hard to buy for)- Printed pictures to use for our guest book photo mats- Received pashminas for my BMs...so now their gifts are final!Nothing too huge - except the ceremony stuff - but I feel like it's lot of little things that have been haunting me ;)

    nice work Fran! You got lots done this weekend. Sometimes its getting all those little things off your list that makes ya feel better than 1 big thing :) What gift are you making for your reader? I had the hardest time coming up with a gift idea & that's why I ended up buying them necklaces at Macys LOL

    congrats on all your checks ladies! We've been working really hard to finish all the repairs on our house so we can put it one the market, NWR but still a HUGE check!We are also going to get FI's suit today, and pick out our readings for the ceremony tonight!

    We are heading to maui too on Sept 27th! we are looking forward to the honeymoon more than the wedding at this point!  That's all we talk about! I finally got all our final numbers accounted for: Linens, silverware, gave numbers to the chef, and florist!!  And finished the seating chart too! What a relief!  My mom even finished the escort cards too.  Now just waiting for the week of the wedding to be here to put it all together. Im heading out of town this week for my first business trip.  Im heading to california for training and my inlaws are picking me up at the airport.  So I get to spend the day with them while i'm out for training!Congrats to the girls who found thier things on sale at macys! They had a huge sale! Thats awesome!

    We got FI a gorgeous suit at Macy's for a steep discount, I am so happy for him, it's the nicest suit he has ever had :)Princeatude: yay! I'm glad I'm not alone! I'm really hoping for ours to sell soon, because we share the house with FI's brother, and we are SO ready to be alone in our own place :)GL selling yours.

    I wish I had a Macy's in Nebraska :( We get all the commercials but the closest one is in CO....haha!Anyways, I was a little busy this weekend since I had friends in from out of town but it was still productive :)1) Had my bridal shower! :)2) Finished addressing and stuffing most of the invitations for the wedding with my maids of honor3) Helped FI with some honeymoon hotel location issues.4) Found (yet to order) favors.5) Shopped for honeymoon ;)

    It's serious crunch time for me! 1)Had our final walk-thru on Sunday...and wrote THE check. 2)Paid the balance on the cake. 3)Finished the programs. 4)Figured out the seating chart and made the escort cards. 5)Getting the music organized since we're doing an iTunes reception. 6)Had my bachelorette mini-party with just my 2 MOH. 7)Got my reception dress back from my mom after she altered it...fits perfectly! I'm sure there's more...I've lost count!
