My FI is funny

I just had to share - - My FI has made up a new word "weddlingly"  As in, he's sorry that he's been falling behind in his "weddingly duties".  I guess it's kind of like "wifely duties" :)- On his outlook calendar, he has an appointment on our wedding date ceremony time that says "Marry Francecsa".  He's so silly.  Has your FI/DH done anything silly lately?

I have no wedding related funny, but I feel the outlook calender. I have to tell FI to put everything on his calendar. I will wait on the phone while he does it or he'll just forget. You can tell me to remember and I'm there 99.99% of the time.

This isn't WR, but DH was watching me feed the baby, and stated "I wonder if opening your mouth for a spoon is instinct?" No, honey, that's what happens after hours of practice and patience on my part! Men!

Jeff told me today to let him know what his brain should be thinking for Friday and Saturday.  He told me he is turning it off and waiting to hear what his last minute duties are. :)

Thanks ladies!!  I'm getting more excited now that it's so close! :)  He told me to give him his last minute duties but I feel like we're all set.  Everything is pretty much taken care of!  Which feels so good.  All he has to do is pack for that honeymoom baby!

Wow, you are on the ball, way to go! My FI had this really cute idea for our STD's the other day. Now he keeps saying, "well if you're wanting to make those STD's you talked about we better get going on it." He won't admit it was his idea and that he's excited about it. What a goober.

His name is Scott, so our STD postcard is going to read "Kristi and Scott are Tying the Knot." He found this giant rope with a big knot in it at work (um why do they have that???) and he wants to take pics with us holding the ends of the rope with a poster in the background that says Save The Date. Hmmm sounds really cheesy now that I'm typing it...

That Tying the Knot pic idea for STD is super cute. :) OMG - My FI has been hilariously frustrating throughout our almost two year engagement (we have 31 days left).  I have a whole slew of funny things he has said: Regarding our budget: To this day, if you ask him what the budget is, he will say "Free."  So whenever I buy something for the wedding he will say "Hey, that has a price tag...that's not free...that's not in the budget." When discussing the Rehearsal Dinner, he realized that we will have about 30-40 people there (huge bridal party).  He said..."Wait.  Dinner for 30-40 people?  That sounds...expensive.  How about a Rehearsal...SNACK?!  Like on an airplane?  Pretzels and lemonade!"  So, since then, it has been referred to as the Rehearsal Snack. The other day I was working on our favors (votive holders with the guests' names on them that are doubling as place cards) and I had red, black and silver ribbons in my hand trying to decide which one to use, if not all.   Meanwhile, I told FI that I would need his help making some decisions this week (timeline, photographer stuff, ceremony details)...he looked at me, looked at the ribbons and said, "Red.  Phew, I'm tired."  Funny, yes...sad part is, he was serious. :) One decision on ribbon and he was done for. :) With regards to Bridal Party gifts (all our BP members are flying in from out of state) he said my $40 per person budget was too extravagant.  His idea?  Feed them dinner (at the reception) and give them a SUPER high five. His groomsmen are soooooooo lucky I'm around. :) I can't remember the other stuff he's said but seriously, his sense of humor and frustratingly hilarious comments remind me of why I can't live without him: just when I am about to tear my hair out, he says something so asinine that I can't help but laugh.:)
