HHI Vendor Suggestions

Hi All,I am looking for some helpful suggestions for music, flowers, photography and hair/makeup.  I would appreciate your help if you have any suggestions!  Thank you much.

    Flowers: A Floral Affair. Dawn has been great to work with. I'm planning from Cali and I've had no problems. Photography: Hannah Gaber Saletan of HSG Photography. She has also been great to work with. Really enthusiastic. Prices are fantastic.

    These are the vendors I used(sorry I copied and pasted).Vendor Information Ceremony Location - The Sea Pines Resort - A+ They did almost everything for us! Diane, Jill and everyone else are very easy and fun to work with. They are also very Accomodating! The ceremony site was beautiful.   Officiant - SC Ceremonies- A We used Alton Free, he was great, made me and DH feel comfortable and was on time for everything and willing to make every event where he was needed.   Reception Location - The Sea Pines Resort- A Everything was fine except timing got a little off. No noticed but me!   Caterers - The Sea Pines Resort - A+ The Food was incredible. We had tons of compliments on it. Service was also perfect.   Cake Creator - The Sea Pines Bakery (Wedding Cake)- A and Signe's Bakery for Groom's Cake- A+ The Sea Pines Bakery is located in Harbour town on the resort. www.seapines.com Both were very accomodating. I just told them what I wanted and they said Ok! I love that! Cake from Sea Pines was dry but looked exactly, if not better, like I wanted. Cake from Signe's exceed my expectations. I tasted incredible and looked better than I had thought. Definitely reccomend her.   Florist - Fresh Cuts By E Ray Carter- A+++ I met with Tracey and fell if love with her ideas. She took my thoughts and expaned on them. The flowers were incredible on the day of the wedding. My favorite part.   Photographer - Accent on Photography- A Great pics! Loved Janine and Murphy.   Disc Jockey - Hilton Head Entertainment- A+ We used Mike Miller as our DJ. He was great. He helped everything flow smoothly.   Musicians - Hilton Head Entertainment- A We used violinist Arline Rosine for the ceremony and cocktail hour. She was perfect.   Transportation - The Sea Pines Resort- A++ They escorted our guests around in a decorated golf cart (decorated by Fresh cuts by Ray Carter, our florist). They also took us to Inn where we spent the night.   Invitations - Daisy Notes and Paper- A+ Sheryl is very helpful with wording and etiquette. I Love going to the store and looking also!   Jeweler - Kay Jewelers   Tuxedos - Bernard's Formalwear- A+ Great to work with... are very accomodating (mailed our tuxedo's to our wedding location). Everything was there and fit well.   My Dress - Serendipity Bridal- A++ Beautiful store and products. Great staff!! We loved working with Pam.   Bridesmaid Dresses - Ann Taylor Celebrations- A Went with them after my first pick was discontinued halfway through the process. Am happier with this choice and they are a lot easier to work with than the bridesmaid dress designers. The dress is also the best made bridesmaid dress I have ever seen. You actually get what you pay for with them!   Hair Stylist - Joyous Occasions-A+ Everyone looked great and everyone loved their hair.   Makeup Artist - Joyous Occasions-A+ Everyone loved their make-up and looked great. Jennifer was great!

    I am getting married in Hilton Head this October. We are having the ceremony and reception at Palmetto Dunes (at the Dunes House). So far so good. We are also using Flowers by Sue and Signes Bakery...also, both great so far.

    I'm getting married in April 2010 and these are the vendors we've chosen so far: Cake: Signe's Bakery: The cake was delicious and she'll take any suggestions you have if you want a unique design. Flowers: Flowers by Sue: They have been very easy to work with and great pricing!

    I can recommend A floral Affair who I went with for flowers, I went with Make up by Shauna in Hilton Head she was great www.makeupbyshauna.com . I went with Chi Phototography in Charleston who amazing www.ChildCreations.com. Just in case you need a caterer Sandstone Catering.

    We booked Sea Pines Resort and Allison Reisz photography. I have read so many good things about sea pines on this site. So  happy to hear it!
