pg historic properties

does anyone have used billingsley house  and the snow hill manor as a venue, it is relatively cheap and decent looking, just curious if it's worth price, any experiences good and bad would be greatly appreciated! I'm a budget bride! :)

My friend's wedding was at Snow Hill. She was pleased with it overall. I was less than impressed. They were disorganized and she had issues with her contract - they kept calling saying she needed to submit paperwork that she had submitted multiple times. The day of the wedding it POURED rain. The tent area was situated in a way that the water ran into the tent and parts of it flooded. We/they had to continually sweep water out of it. I don't know what capacity she had or was quoted, but the tent was WAY to small for the number of people that she had there.
Holy Crap. We survived the first year!
