Venue--Arrowhead? Lake shore lodge?

Hi everyone,I'm new on here.  My fiance and I aren't getting married for about a year, but we are getting our venue figured out.  One of the several that we are considering is the Arrowhead golf club.  I heard from a cousin that she has heard of some brides having problems with them not including things in the contract, and some other issues.  Does anyone have any experience with Arrowhead?  We're also looking at the Lake Shore Lodge in Estes, anyone have an opinion there?  Thanks!

My Sis in Law got married at Arrowhead and was pleased with it. I think Lake Shore Lodge is beautiful, very nice inside...plus its the mountains. We are getting married in Estes in two weeks, and having our reception at Peaceful Valley Ranch, which is really nice if you like a rustic setting. GL!

One of my friends was married at Arrowhead in July. I would NEVER recommend them after the way they've treated her and their negligence. If you would like more info, feel free to email me at acl.photo at gmail dot com.

If you have a smaller guest list (100 or less) historic Crag's Lodge is beautiful.  It overlooks the town of Estes Park.  It hasa  rich dark wood interior with the older wavy windows.  We had my in-laws 40th anniv. party there.

I'm getting married in about a year too.  Actually One year and 4 days!  My vote is for Estes Park (that's where i'll be tying the knot) because it's right in the mountains and is very beautiful and romantic.  Lake Shore Lodge in Estes is nice, but there are better places.  Try the Stanley Hotel or Black Canyon Inn.
