Double Tree Ballroom

Hi my mom works at the Hilton and might get us the ballroom at the Double Tree. Would it be ok to have the ceremony there too? Just wondering. Because we have a family friend who could do it just need a place.

    You'll want to post this on a local Minn. board.  This board is international (I'm from NJ and don't know anything about Minn.) and we can't help you with specifics like this.  GL

    OOps hit post too soon.  My DD got married at the same place as her reception was.  In her case it was a golf country club.  Outdoor ceremony, indoor reception.  So of  course, you can have ceremony and reception in the same place.  It's done all the time.

    Actually this is international because there are tons of Hiltons and Doubletrees all around the world.

    Hi, I am actually having my ceremony and reception in the same room at a Doubletree so it can be done!!  Another thing you could do is to have the reception in the bigger ballroom and have the ceremony in the smaller banquet room if they have one.  Good Luck!

    I am haveing our ceremony (outdoor garden area) and reception (ballroom) at the Hilton. I am from Delaware so ... Our Hilton/Doubletree maybe diff than how urs are set up where your from. May want to put a post on your local board. I just wanted to respond to let you know it can be done. HTH. GL!
