not from VT-- quick question

Hi everyone,My FI and I are from Mass and we are heading up to brattleboro VT in Oct for a little weekend getaway. We are staying at the Meadowlark Inn and I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas of fun sites, shops, restaurants, or anything we can do in that area. I would really appreciate it!Thanks ladies!

    There is some great hiking in that area, but it might be a bit chilly! The foliage will be great, though! Brattleboro is a really artsy town, it's fun to just walk around and see what is happening.

    thanks! Maybe we will just take a drive/walk through town and find some cool places. Do you know any good restaurants near by? We're staying at a BnB so we will need somewhere to go for lunch and dinner.

    Route 9 between Brattleboro and Wilmington is a great route to travel for some spectaular views. I used to love driving on that road for my old job. I would try to time it around the sunrise,it was so gorgeous it would always make my day a little brighter!
