I need a bit of advice on what to do about one thank you card I have to write.We invited a couple to our wedding, but unfortunately they were not able to come because the husband was very sick in the hospital. We just found out that he passed away recently.I feel bad sending a thank you card to his wife at this time, but I want to acknowledge the gift that they sent for us. Should I send the thank you card expressing our sympathy and thanking her for thinking of us, or should I send a sympathy card and include the thank you card with it?Any advice would be appreciated.
