Changing my name & applying for graduate school

Okay so I applied for graduate school a little before we got married. So all the paper work is in my maiden name. I am worried if I change my name, will it cause problems with me making it into graduate school. Should I wait to change my name till after I make it in or will it not cause me any problems?

    I would probably just call the admissions office to see what their preference is. If you have already changed your legal stuff (DL, SS card, etc.) they may need your married name to process your information. I don't think you would not get in because of your name change. Just my opinion!

    I would hold off on doing anything until you are accepted, then proceed with officially changing your name in the school records. But a phone call couldn't hurt anything!
