Oh that's great!  They made a really big deal about signing up early to us. Are you doing the weekend or one day?

I had to Google "Pre Cana" because I had no idea what you two were talking about. I went to a Catholic church once... I was so confused! lol

Wait, what? there's one on Oct. 3rd?  We were signed up for the one in August and it got cancelled and now we can't go until Feb! Are you doing the one that is one day or are you doing the weekend?  What church are you getting married at?

Oh yeah, it was a big deal for us to do it early too... but because of our jobs (retail blah), and getting the money together.... we haven't been able to commit until now to booking a date. So the one day it is!

Yeah, I think they actually had a last minute cancellation because it's so super close to the date. They said there was nothing available... unless we could do the very next one. I'm really thankful that we were able to get a spot in one of the 2009 sessions....especially since the church won't really do anything else with the planning until we attend. And our wedding date is in early March!Oh, and we're getting married at St. Mary Magdalen!! I'm really excited.... what about you???

We're going through Most Precious Blood but the wedding will be at Annunciation.  They are requiring us to do the full weekend and we can't do just the one day.  Did you have a minimum donation amount?  We contacted a ton of churches and all of them wanted us to donate on the envelope system for a minimum of three to six months before we could even have a date.  Most Precious Blood is the only church that didn't require that.  Of course Annunciation still requires a 750$ "donation" that gets split up among each of the people who will be at the wedding.  What did they require you to pay?

are your really giving fake mustaches as wedding favors? That is hilarious? what gave you the idea?  Also, how and where did you get your veil for twenty bucks?

My sister got married at Annunciation and I'm getting married at St. Mary Magdalen. St. MM only required that you complete Pre Cana, it didn't matter if it was one day or two.  Robert and I did the weekend and realized it was a waste of time.  We would've been fine with the one day.  If you're members of the Church, they don't charge you a fee for the wedding, but you have to tip the musicians and the Priest.  It comes out to about 1/2 of what Annunciation charges and you have a lot more freedom in what you can do and your choices.
