poison ivy 11 days before..seriously??

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I have poison ivy.  itchy spots are popping up in different places and I am really trying not to freak out.  I can't have random rashes showing while I'm in my wedding dress!!!!going home at lunch to load up on some anti itch cream.  keep your fingers crossed!

Go to the doctors...my mom got it about 2 weeks before and got this cream that worked wonders!!! if you are getting it now most likely if it's poison it will get worse...anti itch cream only relieves the itchies not heals it...

Go get some Tecnu.  It's a little white and green bottle, I think in outdoor/bug repellant sections of stores.  It can keep the rash from spreading.

It could also be anxiety/nerves.  I have a friend that gets Hives when she has to speak publiclly.  Definitely call your doctor.

Dab the areas with bleach. It works wonders!

Do NOT use bleach on your skin!!  Definitely go to the doctor if you haven't already.  If you need a steroid you'll want it done with and out of your system before the wedding!!  (Take it from a girl who got terrible poison ivy and had to do two rounds of them before it was finally gone. ;)

Go to the doctors! Creams may keep it from spreading or to stop the itch but not heal it.

The right creams will help dry it up, and prevent it from spreading. I recommend IvaRest, or good old Caladryl. Also lukewarm baths with Aveeno colloidal oatmeal powder (bonus -- it smells really good). Hope it clears up!

this is my fear since i get it really bad every year.....call your doc as needed....wash clothes, sheets, pets, etc that could be contaminated with the oil....if you've showered and washed the oil off it can't spread, unless you touch something that still has the oil on it..the rash is just the allergic reaction to the oil on the plant...good luck!!!

Whatever it is - don't itch!  It'll make everything worse.

update..I don't think it's poison ivy..nothing has spread and it's not really in 'clusters' like poison ivy tends to do.  I think it's bug bites.  Just one of them the skin is a little bruised where the 2 bites are (on my hip).  I got hydrocortisone cream, but I think I am going to call the dr. and tell them what I think it is, but that my wedding is next weekend and I'm not taking any chances!
